Franck Verzefé is Cameroonian and Doctor of Pharmacy, he fights against counterfeit medicines in Africa. He is a member of the UN / International Telecommunications Union and of the World Health Organization think tank on artificial intelligence for health (AI4H). Franck heads the Artificial Intelligence thematic group for the detection of falsified medicine at AI4H; responsible for the development of a global standard for the evaluation and benchmarking of AI pharmaceutical systems. He was selected among the 5 best African social entrepreneurs in 2017 by the African Youth Prize. Franck was also recently ranked by WHO among the top 30 African innovators. Franck is the founder and CEO of TrueSpec-Africa.
